In the News/3 Month Mark

Hello everyone. The girls are 3 months old today and thriving. They have all officially now flipped over on their own and are giggling and smiling a lot. They have really filled out nicely with their cheeks and legs and bellies....so cute. Tess and Madeline are looking a lot alike these days. The other night at 4am as I was feeding Madeline and Molly at the same time, they grabbed a hold of each others hand and held them throughout the entire feeding. It was adorable and really made that 4am feeding worthwhile. I was wishing Dennis were there to see it as he normally would be awake with me but he is in Hoboken working this week and I am in Binghamton at my parents. We came to Binghamton last weekend for some family events and I stayed up here for the week with the girls because we are having their baptism on Saturday. As much as the girls are growing so fast, I am still reminded of how small they really are when compared to their cousins born a month before and after them. I wonder when "preemies" officially catch up? Since they are moving much more and getting bigger, we had to separate them at night. I hated to break them up because they were so cute all snuggled together in the crib. But, it was just getting to cramped for them in the small crib in our room. Even when I have them several inches away from each other, they find their way snuggled up to each other (really cute). In Hoboken last week we had Molly and Tess in the big crib in the nursery and then kept Madeline in our room in the little crib since she is the one who still wakes up more (she is the smallest). It was a little sad having them "graduated" to their own room. In Binghamton we have two small cribs both in our room and I have been rotating who sleeps alone. They are getting close to sleeping through the night with some 5 hour stretches lately. It is really nice! I cannot wait until they really sleep through the night though. They fall asleep really well at night so that has been nice too. Overall, they are just really good babies with eating, sleeping and not fussing too much. I've heard from my Aunt Kathy that there were 3 triplet boys born the exact same day as ours in Scranton, PA. How fun would that be to introduce them someday! I also received an email from the mom of another set of triplets (boys) in Hoboken born 5/19. Here is a link to some recent news reporting about us in Hoboken:
